(Press release, June 30, 2025) Marie Stenitzer, Jan Schratzberger, and Maja Münch are the new leadership team of the ÖH (Student Union) at the University of Salzburg. The new trio takes office on July 1, 2025.
Following the ÖH elections held from May 13 to 15, 2025, the new ÖH executive body was constituted last week, and a new leadership team was elected. Marie Stenitzer (VSStÖ) will lead the ÖH as the new chairperson starting July 1, with deputies Jan Schratzberger (KSV-KPÖ) and Maja Münch (VSStÖ) rounding out the three-member leadership team. The new team’s term of office ends on June 30, 2027.
On June 30, 2025, the current leadership team—comprising Cedric Keller, Stephanie Wolfgruber, and Leonhard Hecht—will step down after a two-year term. The years ahead will bring many challenges requiring the ÖH’s involvement; developments in artificial intelligence within teaching and research, balancing studies with employment, and ensuring financial security are just a few of the issues involved. We wish the incoming team great perseverance and success over the next two years”], stated the outgoing leadership team.
